Play the Nintendo Switch in San Francisco Before It’s Released

Are you anxiously anticipating the release of the Nintendo Switch on March 3rd as much as we are? What if we told you there’s a way you can get your hands on a Nintendo Switch a week before its launch?

Nintendo is taking the Switch on a preview tour across major U.S. cities, and will be headed to San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center next week. The pre-launch event will kick off next Friday, February 24th for two days of invite-only previews and play. We’ll be getting our first look on Friday, so be sure to follow us on Instagram and watch our Story for a sneak peek.

On Sunday, February 26th the Fort Mason Center (2 Marina Blvd., San Francisco, CA) will open its doors for the public to preview the Nintendo Switch at 8:00AM. Wristbands will be handed out to those in line for specific sessions beginning at 7:00AM.

Space will be very limited for this public preview, and players will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis. Nintendo advises against arriving before 6:00AM. Find more event details here.

At the event you’ll have a chance to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, 1-2 Switch, Arms, Super Bomberman R, and more.

We will share our first impressions of the Nintendo Switch on Saturday, February 24th. Stay tuned!
