This week marks the end of an era. We not only bid farewell to California’s iconic Pioneer Cabin Tree (“The Calaveras Tunnel Tree”), which toppled after more than 130 years of service, but also to one of the most charismatic figures in United States history — President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

What lies ahead for us remains uncertain, but in the meantime, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunny three day weekend.
